Gy was the privileged residence of the archbishops of Besançon for almost seven centuries. The Château de Gy, a major witness to this period, stands proudly and offers visitors a glimpse into the past. Today, this private monument is open to visitors. It has been restored to faithfully reflect its 18th-century state. As you wander through its elegantly decorated rooms, you will feel the prestige and solemnity of a bygone era.
