Scey-sur-Saône-et-Saint-Albin

As its name suggests, Scey-sur-Saône-et-Saint-Albin is situated on the banks of the River Saône. The town’s past can be seen in its many monuments. The remains of the 16th-century château, with its stables, outbuildings, wash-house, entrance pavilion and the temple in the grounds tell the story of a bygone era.

The Church of Saint-Martin

The church of Saint Martin, proud guardian of the local heritage, is home to a unique treasure: wrought-iron furniture of great historical and artistic value, bearing witness to exceptional craftsmanship. The fountains, wash-houses and calvaries dotting the narrow streets of the town are all typical features of the region, adding to the picturesque and authentic atmosphere of Scey-sur-Saône.
