Every element of the Acorus Water Gardens is designed to awaken your senses. The gentle murmur of water, the rustle of leaves and birdsong create a natural symphony that invites you to slow down and appreciate the moment.
As you stroll along the garden paths, you’ll discover an impressive array of over 1,000 plant species, including more than 250 aquatic species. Paths, pontoons and footbridges will guide you through a landscape where water features create a soothing atmosphere. Take the time to sit on one of the many benches dotted around the park to watch the frogs perched on the water lilies and the colourful dragonflies fluttering around the pools.

Created in 1992 by Olivier and Sylvie, two botanical enthusiasts, the Jardins Aquatiques d’Acorus is the result of a radical change of lifestyle. Based in the Haute-Saône region of France, they decided to transform an old pasture into a lush garden, diversifying and enriching the plant palette while preserving the natural species present. Today, the garden is a refuge for biodiversity (with the Refuge LPO label) and a place of discovery for visitors.
