The " real biscuit of Montbozon "
The story says that the particular cook of Louis XVI? after the revolution avoided the court to take refuge with the distant parts of the country. His steps brought him to Montbozon where he came down to the hotel of the Golden cross which held the Lanternier family.
To thank them for accommodating, he taught to his hosts the secret of a dessert which appreciated particularly the royal couple and which became the well known biscuit of Montbozon.
