The Avant-Doubs loop (no. 10) is located in the valley of the Ognon, the river that divides the departments of Haute-Saône and Doubs. This loop crosses the Chemin Vert, an exclusive right-of-way route built on a former railway line, which leads to Vesoul and then on to the Saône valley.
