Situated on a hillside, the village of Pin dominates the Ognon Valley, which led to the installation of a fortified castle early on... The castle is located at the top of the village, behind the church. It has been listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 1967 for the roofs, facades and exterior, and since 1995 for the interior of the building.
