From the church of Saint Symphorien de Gy (open), follow the blue round markers through the beautiful Monts de Gy forest. Halfway along the loop, you can take the tarmac road down to the curious hamlet of Fontenelay, then retrace your steps (2 km) to return to the signposted route. Some very beautiful forest paths will then guide you back to Gy. Watch out for the occasional steep ascent or descent that will heat up your calves!
