Visit the only family distillery in Fougerolles, founded in 1859! The Distillerie Paul Devoille produces a wide range of eaux de vie, liqueurs, absinthes, crèmes, apéritifs, gins, fruits à la liqueur, pastis, aperitifs and more. The company relies on traditional, ancestral know-how combined with modern, high-performance equipment. Its products regularly win awards in national and international competitions. The company is proud to have been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, which recognises companies with a rich history and expertise. Three words sum up the company's philosophy: tradition, authenticity and innovation. To discover: free visit of the cellar with tasting of Whisky, projection of a film on the stages of manufacture and visit of the chalot in which the absinthe dries after harvest. A must for the whole family: the Jardin Secret de la Fée Verte (Secret Garden of the Green Fairy) featuring the plants used to make absinthe and its chalot. Sheltered tables and benches for picnics.
