Saint-Martin church was built between 1782 and 1788 by Valentin André. The building is octagonal in shape, a choice imposed by the impossibility of adopting a Latin cross plan in the space available at the time. The church was listed as a historic monument in 1992, while the retaining wall was listed the same year. References include the Portal of French Historic Monuments, the Portal of Haute-Saône and the Portal of Christian Architecture; the church is also listed as a historic monument in Haute-Saône.
