Frettes is a charming little village on the edge of the Haute-Saône, on the old Roman road between Langres and Besançon. It is dominated by its imposing church whose foundation stone was laid in 1829. Its ashlar façade, its columns with Ionic capitals bearing a clavé entablature, make this monument a curiosity of the region.
