Frettes is a charming little village on the edge of Haute-Saône, on the old Roman road between Langres and Besançon. It is dominated by its imposing church, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1829. With its ashlar façade and columns with Ionic capitals supporting a clavé entablature, this monument is a must-see in the region.
