The church of Saint-Martin was built in 1749, at the instigation of Abbé Sibeau, the parish priest, to plans by François Ducy, an architect from Dampierre-sur-Salon, replacing another church on a completely different site (unknown but probably nearby). Initially, the bell tower was of the Comtois type, like most churches in the former Franche-Comté region. However, following damage, it was replaced in 1820 by a pyramidal bell tower (pavilion roof) with an 800kg bell, based on a plan by Labertherie, an architect in Gray. All the stucco mouldings in the choir and side altars, as well as the large 17th-century wooden crucifix, which predates the church, are now listed as Historic Monuments.
