Entre Abbaye et Châteaux

1- Turn to the right on the street "rue de l'Eglise". At the end of the village, go up on the right. Cross the road and continue on the heights of Cirey along the wood of Lançoire. Cross the road towards Chambornay-lès-Bellevaux.
2- Leave the road and take a track on the right to go into the wood alongside the castle (Ancienne Abbaye). Follow the signs to reach Chambornay-lès-Bellevaux.
3- On leaving the village, head towards Aulx-lès-Cromary, then continue towards Neuvelle-lès-Cromary (road on the right) just after the Chapelle Saint-Justin.
4- At the Moulin de Malgérard, take the forest track on the left.
the forest track on the left, which runs alongside the stream. Turn left onto the D5 for 200 metres, then right onto the track which runs alongside woods and fields.
5- Cross the D31 to reach the village of Aulx-lès-Cromary. Turn right just after the farm onto the footpath. Turn right on the D30.
6- Turn left after the bridge, towards Thurey-le-Mont. Follow the signs and leave the village on the Chemin de la Combe for 100 metres. Take the path on the right and continue into the Bois Bas. When you reach the forest road, turn left.
7- At the end of the wood, go straight on to reach Cirey. Cross the Ognon and turn left into rue de l'église to get back to the starting point.
