With 87 films, including 40 new releases, and 24 countries represented, the 32nd Festival International des Cinémas d'Asie de Vesoul will be showcasing young Chinese talent, Arab cinema from the Middle East, cinema from the roof of the world and fantasy and suspense films in a themed section entitled "Mysteries and Opium Balls", in addition to the fiction and documentary competitions.
Chinese director Wang Bing will be President of the International Jury, and will receive a Cyclo d'Or d'Honneur for lifetime achievement at the Opening Ceremony. He will also be one of around fifty guests (directors, producers, actors, film crew members) to spend a week in Vesoul, from 27 January to 3 February 2026.
