Our gîte is located in SELLES, one of the prettiest little villages in Haute-Saône. It has been designed to comfortably accommodate 4 people.

Our gîte is located in SELLES, one of the most beautiful villages in Haute-Saône.

On the heights of this village you will find a house of 100m 2 decorated in a "chic country" style, the harmony of tones and natural materials makes it a very warm place.

This cosy and welcoming nest has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, bed linen, towels, flat-screen cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room opening onto a covered terrace with a view of the enclosed garden.
You can enjoy the atmosphere of the surrounding area from an outdoor dining area or warm up by the fireplace on colder days!

For a weekend, a week or more, you're welcome in a hilly green setting, criss-crossed by a river and bordered by a canal...
This unspoilt area is popular with tourists for its "wilderness" feel...

Numerous nature walks and cycle rides can be taken from the house (the V50 cycle route and the Eurovélo 6 pass 400 m from our gîte).
You can also go fishing by the river and "titillate" gudgeon, roach, pike, pike-perch and other fish... .
The banks of the Coney have tables and benches for picnics. There's nothing like relaxing in the shade of magnificent plane trees, with the possibility of a swim in cool water...

Selles has a rich heritage. There is a 12th century church with a magnificent 15th century altarpiece with polychrome decoration, a chapel of Notre Dame de Lourdes, a 19th century metal swing bridge (listed as a historic monument), a stone bridge, 12 wash-houses, the river "Le Coney" and the Canal des Vosges, nestling in a green and peaceful setting.
Its geographical location in the heart of the Vôge saônoise region, close to the oldest glassworks in France dating from 1476 and still in operation (70,000 visitors/year), 10 minutes away, 3 spa resorts 30 minutes away, distilleries, confectionery shops, museums (prehistory, Luxeuil-les-Bains lace, iron, glass and wood museums, negritude museums, etc.), leisure parks (La Rochelle), and a number of other sites. ) and leisure parks (La ferme aventure, Frais pertuis, etc.) will delight young and old alike!

As far as local shops are concerned, we are lucky enough to have an excellent baker-pastry chef and his small grocery shop, as well as a local bistro.
