Guided tour followed by games inspired by Children of the Resistance, the comic book series recently adapted for the cinema.
Ages 8 and up.
This year, the Pays de la Cerise Ecomuseum is presenting a temporary exhibition entitled Résister à l'oubli : Fougerolles 39-45 (Resisting oblivion: Fougerolles 39-45), focusing on the local history of the Second World War.
How did the people of Fougerolles live through the debacle of 1940, followed by the arrival of the Germans and Vichy orders? Between food rationing, the continuation of daily life and the feats of arms of local resistance fighters, the exhibition evokes the memory of our rural community in eastern France, where the period intertwined pain, resilience and even joy.
It's a complex subject, but one that the Ecomusée team hopes to tackle with adults and children (aged 8 and over) alike. So they're offering a family-friendly way to discover this exhibition during the holidays, with a guided tour of this temporary exhibition, followed by a game time inspired by Les Enfants de la Résistance, the comic book series recently adapted for the cinema (a treasure hunt, a board game, a reading and drawing corner, as well as the Les Enfants de la Résistance exhibition adapted for children).
