Discover the Notre-Dame du Haut chapel and Le Corbusier's UNESCO heritage through workshops, games and guided tours.
This event is being organised to mark the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of Le Corbusier's architectural work - an exceptional contribution to the modern movement - on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Educational workshop: The chapel as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the serial inscription of Le Corbusier's work as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which we are celebrating throughout the year.
To mark Monuments and Sites Day and this anniversary, we invite you to discover the Notre-Dame du Haut chapel in Ronchamp from a new angle thanks to this UNESCO educational workshop.
It's a fun way to learn about the serial listing of Le Corbusier's architectural work as a World Heritage Site and the Exceptional Universal Value (E.U.V.) of the chapel.
The workshop answers two main questions:
What is the purpose of World Heritage listing?
Why is the chapel on the list?
Duration: 1 hour
Times: 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm, continuous workshop.
Game: Mölkky® UNESCO
This activity, which complements the UNESCO workshop, is based on the famous Nordic bowling game, with the same rules... and an extra challenge!
To score points, players have to knock over the skittles and answer questions about the chapel, world heritage and UNESCO listing.
Opening times 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5pm
One game approximately every 30 minutes.
