La Fontaine du Coq sans tête

1-From the swimming pool car park, turn right and head down towards the village and the "Headless Cockerel" fountain. Go around the fountain and turn right towards Le Cordonnet. Pass the ponds on your left and continue uphill until you leave the village. Turn left into the woods. Continue as far as the hamlet of Rochefort, leaving the round fountain in your path.
2-Arrive at Rochefort, turn right and follow the signs to the magnificent viewpoint (La Dame blanche to the south and Monts-de-Gy to the west).
3-Then head south, then cross the road and go through cultivated countryside.
4-Continue through the pine, fir and larch plantations of the Massif de la Foulnière, then descend to the hamlet of La Lotière.
5-Turn left onto the main road. Just before leaving the hamlet, turn left onto a white track. You will gradually come back down to Chaux-la-Lotière along this peaceful country lane. Turn right onto the main road to reach the swimming pool car park.
