The Montagne de la Roche is home to the remains of a feudal castle destroyed in 1354, a spinning stone and its legends on the heights of Morey, a tabular stone near the prehistoric camp to the north of La Roche, and a pierced stone with its superstitions further south.
In addition, La Roche is home to 3 prehistoric sites of national renown: a Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon site associated with a palaeontological site, a Magdalenian site in caves, and one of the largest Neolithic camps in eastern France.
The Montagne de La Roche has been dubbed by archaeologists as the "Golden Triangle of Prehistory" for the region.
It is also the place where you can admire many species of birds of prey.
