Le Mont du Chanois

1- From the village square, leave the church on your right and go straight ahead for a few meters. Turn right into rue d'Agélène, then right again into rue de la Béquinière. Continue on this road for about a kilometre, then turn right as far as the edge of the wood.
2- At the edge of the wood, leave the ridge and turn right on a forest road. Keep right as far as the end of the wood. The path turns into a farm track and takes you back to the village.
3- At the stop sign, turn left onto the main road, then right onto rue de la Chaille. Leave the sheepfold on your right while the view of the Ognon valley opens up. Shortly after entering the Bois du Chanois, turn right and then left at the next two junctions. Walk about 700 m along the ridge of Mont du Chanois, then turn right to go back down to the village.
4 - About 300 metres after leaving the wood, take a small grassy track on your right which offers a lovely view of the village and its Comtois bell tower. Reach the town hall square.
