Having played music since childhood, and with a passion for working with her hands, particularly with wood, Marie decided to become a violin maker after her A-levels. After obtaining a CAP in cabinet-making, she entered the Ecole Nationale de lutherie de Mirecourt in 2013, where she learned how to make the quartet's instruments.
In 2019, she set up her own workshop, where she devotes her time to making instruments.
Since 2022, she has been based in Rupt-sur-Saône.
