In the Ognon Valley, just outside the village of FRETIGNEY, a small bridge over the stream leads to a courtyard lined with old buildings that speak volumes about the area's past....
Calm, nature, the gentle sound of running water..... and the superb building of the former Rouchotte mill reveal a little corner of paradise. Four guest rooms have been fully restored using warm, natural materials and beautifully decorated in a soft, cocoon style. The communal dining room alone is a vivid reminder of the mill's past, as are the outside areas, where you'll find the remains of the canal that turned the big wheel, the water reservoir and the millstones...., not forgetting the other buildings that enabled the mill to live independently, with the old bread oven, the barns, the stables and the pigsty....A harmonious whole, where a restful stopover is a must!
