STOC-capture" is a scientific operation that uses the principle of capture-recapture to provide an estimate of the demographic trends of the most common passerines in the countryside.
The ringing station will be set up near Vieilley/Perrouse from 2pm to 4pm on the first day, then ringing will continue until dark (bring boots, headlamp and packed lunch). The following day, ringing from daybreak until midday, then tidying up. This is a study commissioned by the CRBPO (Centre de recherches sur la biologie des populations d'oiseaux) and interested participants are invited to register as "ringing helpers" with the people in charge.
