This walk, which is emblematic of the Villersexel region, can be done over half a day (short loop) or a full day (long loop). It is particularly enjoyable during the mirabelle blossom season towards the end of April. In mid-August, you can stop off at local producers to stock up on mirabelle plums. There are reading and picnic tables along the way. An orientation table on the Motte de Grammont helps you locate the surrounding villages.
This is a discovery trail in its own right: the old Mélecey cemetery, the viewpoint over the Motte de Grammont, the Grande Raie fault and, a few hundred metres along the way, the old Fallon foundry and the old Mélecey saltworks. There is also a short loop option (6 km/easy level).
