  • Along the route, the village of Charcenne combines the art of vine-growing with that of cheese-making. The Guillaume family has been cultivating vineyards since 1732, while the Milleret family has been making soft cheeses since 1921.

  • This mountain bike trail bears the blue number 54. It starts in Gy (place de la mairie), Colombine (place du centre) and Charcenne (place de l'église). From Gy, the route starts out easy, then gradually takes in forest paths and white roads as far as the village of Colombine (in the commune of Choye). From there, the gradient rises, and a very pleasant but fairly technical section takes you back to Charcenne. To finish, head for the Monts de Gy, where the paths climb steeply!
