The Sainte-Anne chapel, built in 1650, is at the heart of several legends. One of them tells of the miraculous discovery of a statuette of Sainte-Anne in a bush around the year 548. Some time after the statuette had been placed in the village church, it was found again in the bush. This discovery is said to have led to the erection of a hermitage in 551, the forerunner of today’s chapel. Another version of the legend attributes the discovery to an ox in 1848.
