Description
The Banney forest marks the transition between the forest massifs of the Vosges Saônoises, rich in beech trees, and those of the Haute-Saône plains with their varied species.
and the plains of Haute-Saône with their varied species. This former forest belonging to the monks of Luxeuil Abbey is full of treasures, including springs, fountains, an ancient Roman road and the Route Napoléon.
There is a children's play area at the start of the trail, as well as a park with wild boar and Sika deer.
