The Sérénata choir from Gray and the Cantarelle from Belfort invite you to join them on Sunday 7 June at 5pm at the Basilica in Gray.
Gray's Sérénata (A Cœur Joie) choir is delighted to invite you to its traditional end-of-year concert, to be held on Sunday 7 June 2026 at 5pm in Gray's Basilica. For the occasion, choristers from the Cantarelle de Belfort (A Cœur Joie) will join us for a programme of songs on the theme of water.
Under the passionate direction of their choirmaster Bruno Vézina, the Serenata choristers will be inviting you on a musical journey out of time, where voices unite to explore the many facets of the human soul.
This concert has been conceived as a fresco of contrasts, with a journey through the contemplation and solemnity of sacred hymns, from the poignant Stabat Mater to the patriotic fervour of Gaude Mater Polonia.
Then the voices echo life on earth: the joyful simplicity of working the land, the poetry of flowing springs and the vibrant awakening of spring. Between the nostalgia of forgotten languages and the lightness of a waltz, we will cross borders, from Spain to Cornwall.
This concert is free and open to all.
