Description
Humour and sound illusions
Humour and sound illusions
Concept / Performance: Dylan Foldrin and Quentin Thiollier
Artistic accompaniment Thierry Collet
In this performance that plays with the codes of the lecture and the concert, two performers - sound engineers, musicians and magicians all rolled into one - invite the audience to discover the unexpected properties of their hearing and their brains through the staging of sound illusions. The duo are both good talkers and bad talkers, representing different aspects of sound: Louis doesn't speak, he only expresses himself through noises and music. He explores in a sensitive way, playing with the sounds around him. Dylan, on the other hand, takes a more scientific and educational approach to sound.
He seeks to highlight the complex workings of our brains.
