Description
Henri Milleret founded the cheese dairy of the same name in Franche-Comté in 1921. He set up in the small chapel of Leffond, just outside the village of Charcenne, in Haute-Saône (70). At the time, only a few dozen litres of milk were turned into cheese! Since then, his children, and now us, his grandchildren, have continued to develop the cheese dairy, which is still 100% family-run.
This family-run cheese dairy specialises in soft cheeses, with milk processing and the production of cancoillotte. Visits in summer only on Tuesdays at 10am, booking essential. Free visit with tasting.
