Gîte paysan du moulin begeot

In 2005 we completed construction of the new building. The building was constructed as environmentally friendly as possible using natural materials. The green roof provides excellent insulation, whilst wastewater treatment is carried out using a septic tank and gravel and sand filters. The building houses the holiday cottage, the various stables, a workshop and hay storage. The building has been finished in such a way that the wonderful timber framework is clearly visible. From the comfort of your armchair, you can watch the animals coming and going, whilst enjoying a splendid view of the meadows. And when you’re in the small garden, you can easily stroke the donkeys. Everyone can safely get to know these fantastic animals. The holiday cottage has an open, simple and natural feel. There is a living room and a kitchen area with basic facilities (hot and cold water, worktop, hob and oven, fridge, kitchen utensils and crockery). flat, holiday cottage, dining area, holiday, rental, kitchenette, holidays There is a separate bedroom with a bunk bed and the option to add a third bed, as well as a modern alcove with a double bed. The holiday cottage can accommodate 4 to 6 people. A cot can be provided if required. Blankets and duvets are provided. There is a small bathroom with a toilet, shower and washbasin. You won’t find many electrical appliances in the gîte. We’re situated almost at the end of the power line, so we don’t have much electricity. But this is also a conscious choice, as we don’t want to contribute to the high energy consumption that is leading to a new nuclear programme in France. There is Wi-Fi in the gîte. The gîte can be hired from Saturday to Saturday or for a weekend. On the day of arrival, the gîte is available from 4.00 pm.
