Description
The desk of an absent writer. Books piled high, the pen at rest, and the wastepaper basket overflowing with crumpled drafts. A play of light and shadow where time seems to stand still.
The story of a crumpled draft which, like a seed without roots, searches the soil of books for a place to sprout. With childlike innocence and curious eyes, it seeks a place for itself amongst the pages and comes up against the impenetrable nature of books – boundaries it cannot cross. In its quest for identity and an origin, it discovers freedom. A fragile balance between poetry and the burlesque, innocence and mischief, carried by two instruments which, on stage, give voice to the performance.
