Description
Leave the housing estate behind and take the path alongside the river. Pass under the D67 bridge and follow the bypass for 1.3 km to the roundabout at the shopping centre. Cross the road towards the Fassenet Matériaux shop and go around it. Follow this road and turn right at the first junction. Go past a few houses and turn left at the end of the road, which leads to the motocross track. Go around it to the left, past the relay mast and just after it, follow the track to the left. At the walnut tree, turn right to join the D67, then carefully cross this road. Continue straight ahead along the D67 for just a few metres. Take the grassy path on your left that runs alongside a tree plantation. Continue straight on towards the Bois des Plantes. You will pass close to the Plantes de Marnay industrial estate. At the end of the wood, turn right down towards the Route de Marnay. At the junction on your right, follow the road for around 300 m to reach the hamlet of Les Brosses. Go past the houses and up into the Bois des Prêtres. After climbing the hill, you come to the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and the Les Bois de Brussey footpath (signposted with a blue ring). Follow these routes as far as the entrance to Marnay. Opposite the Sapeurs-Pompiers fire station, turn right. Enter the Voie de Verdun and at the entrance, on your left, go down a few steps. Continue straight on until you reach the Ruisseau des Douis. Cross the small bridge and turn left along the gardens. At the junction, cross the bridge and turn immediately right. Follow the stream as far as the footbridge. Take Rue de l'Abreuvoir and Rue Gambetta to reach Grande Rue. Walk up the street to the Boulangerie Colle and take the François Gauthier path to Le Paquey.
