Description
A new venue dedicated to contemporary art, La Villa / Frac-Collection is opening its doors to everyone at Villa Lamugnière in Arc-lès-Gray.
Within the Villa, a selection of works from the Frac Franche-Comté collection invites visitors to discover the richness of today's art through an itinerary accessible to all audiences (art enthusiasts, the curious, family visitors or casual strollers) accompanied by mediators.
Visitors of all ages will also be able to enjoy a variety of cultural activities. Visitors will be able to discover a varied cultural programme (lectures, meetings with artists, etc.), as well as the Digital Museum for interactive exploration of works from French museums and a documentary space on the Frac's works and collection. And for younger visitors, there's a children's area with independent games and children's books on art.
Workshop rooms dedicated to artistic practice will regularly host creative sessions. These practical moments will enhance the sensitive experience of visiting the exhibition.
Finally, the Villa's grounds will provide an exceptional setting for a walk, a shady reading or an open-air picnic after the visit.
On the opening day, there will be a party at 5pm, with a concert by the Haute-Saône cover band Atouboudchan, and the ArtKaravane association will be presenting the digital museum non-stop.
Refreshments and snacks provided by a local association.
La Villa / Frac-Collection is a place to experience, open to all: to discover, learn, create, marvel... and come back again.
