Owned by the Knights Templar in the 11th century, and later by the Order of Malta, Ferme de Laine has seen nearly a thousand years of history pass it by.
After remaining unoccupied for many years, the estate was recently bought back and reawakened to open its doors to history buffs.
From relics of the early Middle Ages to moving testimonies of life in Haute-Saône throughout the 20th century, the Friends of the Ferme de Laine association is bringing the site back to life through a variety of events aimed at helping to safeguard and restore it.
