Description
In 1816, the sailor Costes set sail on the frigate *La Méduse*, bound for Africa. Following the shipwreck caused by the captain’s incompetence, Costes and 150 men were left adrift on a makeshift raft. Thirteen days adrift, without water or food, in the sweltering heat and facing storms and sharks, transformed them into survivors willing to do anything to stay alive. Inspired by a true story, the tale becomes a fable about the injustice and cynicism of those in power.
