Description
Montbozon was the seat of a castellany that extended its jurisdiction over 72 villages and formed part of the estate of the Dukes of Burgundy. The village was also a rural economic centre of regional importance until the 19th century. There are a number of outstanding monuments to discover: the town hall, the Montbozon fountain with its 3 functions, the castle overlooking the village and the Maison Bouday.
