Description
As part of a scientific monitoring programme for local wintering bird populations (the SPOL feeding station programme in collaboration with the National Museum), you have the opportunity to come and watch a bird-ringing session, as well as learn how to identify the birds you see.
Places are limited to avoid an excessive number of people, which could disturb the birds. The time and meeting point in Fougerolles will be specified upon registration via [email protected] or on 06 45 71 83 40. Bring a packed lunch – and don’t forget your wellies! The session runs all day: nets are set up at dawn, ringing takes place throughout the day (please bring a packed lunch), and the nets are taken down at dusk.
