Description
The history of the Monts de Gy is closely linked to that of viticulture and wine, which has left its mark everywhere – not only in the area’s heritage architecture but also in its rolling landscapes and characteristic hillsides. Séverine, a guide at the Tourist Office, will take you along the wine trails to tell you about and immerse you in this past. A visit to a wine cellar, the history of the wines, a ‘caborde’ (wine cellar), the stories of the winegrowers…Halfway through, a refreshment break will give you the chance to sample some of these wines. The tour starts in Gy in front of the town hall and covers a distance of 7 km. Booking is essential via the Tourist Office.
