Storytelling Days are back at the library with a programme packed with stories, music and meet-ups for all ages.
Friday 28 August at 8.00 pm: Full Moon Storytelling at Lac des 7 Chevaux.
Under the starry sky, let yourself be carried away by the tales of Suzel Barbaroux, Sabah Maach and Valer’EGOUY in a natural setting perfect for letting your imagination run wild.
Ages 6 and over.
Saturday 29 August at 6.00 pm: Storytelling walk.
A walk where the paths intertwine with stories, led by Suzel Barbaroux and Valer'EGOUY.
Ages 6 and over.
Sunday 30 August at 10.30 am: Seasonal Box of Secrets
A gentle, soothing experience devised by Emmanuelle Lieby for very young children and their families.
Ages 0–3.
New for 2026:
‘Musical Tales’ workshops for young people.
This year, the library is offering a new artistic adventure for 10–17-year-olds.
From 24 to 27 August, in the afternoons, participants will be invited to create, narrate and set their stories to music alongside Valer’EGOUY, a storyteller from Martinique, and MORIK, a musician from Guadeloupe.
These workshops are completely free of charge and will culminate in a public performance on Thursday 27 August in the late afternoon.

A workshop to explore the art of storytelling.
For those wishing to develop their skills further, Valer’EGOUY, alongside Suzel Barbaroux and Sabah Maach, will lead an artistic workshop on Storytelling / Body / Voice.
Over six days, from 24 to 29 August, participants will work on stage presence, voice and movement, before presenting the results of their work at the ‘Full Moon Storytelling’ event on Friday 28 August.
