900 years ago this year, Montseugny was home to a convent, which became a Commandery belonging to the Order of Knights Templar and later to the Order of Hospitallers. You can enter the former Commander's dwelling, the parish church of the Assumption, whose sanctuary dates back to the 12th/13th century, and the original crypt beneath the choir.
