Parking is available at the site of the former Cistercian abbey of Cherlieu, 2 km from the village. Walk along the forest path from the Cistercian Abbey of Cherlieu to Ferry Mill (2 km return). Commentary on the remaining features in the valley dating back to the monastic era. History of the calvary erected on the site of the recently damaged mill. Refreshments provided. No booking required; contribution €2 Meet at 2.30 pm at the abbey in front of the wayside cross dedicated to Ferdinand de Rye (1613).
