From April to July, around fifteen walks are organised on Sundays and public holidays, each time offering at least two ephemeral routes, signposted just for the occasion.
And that’s the whole concept of this festival: you’ll be walking routes that are only accessible for a day, to give you an unprecedented glimpse of the 1000 Étangs. It’s a golden opportunity to (re)discover this region through places that are usually inaccessible to the public: private ponds, closed historical sites, unmarked paths and much more.

To add an extra touch of adventure, there’s even a semi-night-time walk, offering a different view of the surrounding countryside, whose expanses of forest and water become even more mysterious in the twilight.
More than 1,000 walkers come together on each date to survey the 1000 Étangs, for a total of more than 15,000 participants per edition!
